CarbonTrax™ – CarbonTrax is ‘software as service’, Web 2.0 platform targeting carbon credit offset aggregators, developers, exchanges and finance institutions. The product is focused on streamlining and automating processes from enrollment through securitization of credits ready to be traded. Because of the heavy contribution by agriculture in the carbon markets, TeraVista Systems will use its industry expertise to focus first of this industry vertical. The objective is to lower the cost of acquisition of these credits for the aggregator. CarbonTrax is expected to launch in 2008.
